If it is required to deactivate UPnP in my router, that would be a real
problem for me. The PCs on my network use UPnP for various pieces of
software. Having the to open ports for each as and when required is
really not an option.

In any event, I have done lots of testing over the last few days. I
have stopped every service other than SSODS and my CS407 discs will not
spin down. I then disconnected the CS407 from the network and the discs
still do not spin down. The only way I get the CS407 to spin down is to
stop SSODS.

I note that I have disabled all plugins on SC7.

I am not sure what is left to do. I don't want to leave the CS407
discs running 24/7. However, I don't want to have to manually turn
SSODS on and off. It defeats the purpose.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
