No spin down here as well. I even followed the installation process in detail which Eiber described in the German forum. Without success.
Recently I upgraded to FW 524, SSODS 3beta4 and SC 7.0-16692. This introduced some new issues. Here is my current list in total: 1. No disk spin down. Somebody mentioned in this forum that he experienced this problem even though he is running SC on a different machine while his NAS is not spinning down any more. Thus this might be a general problem of SC 7. 2. SlimServer/CPAN/Compress/Zlib.pm has to be removed in order not to let the scanner crash. 3. New: Auto Start does not work anymore. 4. New: The eaDir patch cannot even be enabled any more. A simple way to avoid these problems is to use the non-beta SS 6.5.4 and FW 518 (for disk spin down you would also have to deactivate plugins).
