The "no such file" message is associate with mplayer looking for some optional conf file - it is saying it didn't find them.
The 5-10mins problem with "Listen Again" is probably due to the "-bandwidth 10000000" in the custom-convert.conf file. If you edit the file and remove the "bandwidth" option the startup time for a track will change to about 10-15 secs from about 2-5secs. The "socket" error message is the root of your problem.
