Sometimes there are caches which seems to stop updates happening. You need to re-install again but no mods.
1. In Settings/Status - note the location of the cache directory 2. Stop SC. 3. delete plugin-data.yaml from cache directory noted in 1. 4. You need a successful unmodified install of WaveInput - in other words WaveInput must appear in Plugins but marked as incompatible. Otherwise you cannot be sure if your problem is the install or the install.xml mods. 5. Reboot Windows 6. Start SC. 7. Check WaveInput in Plugins. 8. Proceed to step 9 only if WaveInput is in Plugins and marked "incompatible" 9. Stop SC 10. Modify install.xml and close wordpad. 11. Reboot windows and start SC 12.
