Quick question, I am trying to get working on 7.1 and kind of stuck.
After modifying the install.xml file so max version is * instead of WaveInput appears with a checkbox in my Plugins tab in SqueezeCenter Settings. (It has no informational 'i' icon) However, there are no "Wave Input" entries (or anything similar) under Advanced... File Types, and I think that is why I can't get Wave Input working. I installed the plugin here: C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server\Plugins\WaveInput I changed the name of the sub from WavInput to WaveInput after seeing in the Server Log an error message saying: Can't locate Plugins/WaveInput/Plugin.pm in @INC [etc...] After changing the dir name, I now get no errors when starting SqueezeCenter -- or at least I assume so; the log stays at size zero now on startup. Playing a "favorite" with the URL as instructed set to wavIn:0, I can get a brief "Connecting..." message but the player section of the SqueezeCenter page always says "Empty". I interpret this as indication of a complete failure, from what I can tell browsing this thread I should see some sort of "Audio Device 0" or equivalent but polished message. I am assuming it's because I'm "missing" Wave Input types in File Types. (Fwiw I have a Dell and had to jump through some hoops to get Stereo Mix showing with my Sigmatel, but think I am past that issue; when I do a test capture piping to a wave file I do here audio. I have only one audio device in my enumeration when I do wavin2cmd -l.) This is an ignorant question but, I assume that I should not have to launch wavin2cmd by hand to get this working -- and that this is done automagically when I connect to wavIn:0...? So... any standard things to look at that would explain why the Wave Input plug isn't working for me? Would so love to have this working! :D Thanks and best regards, aaron -- aaron_in_sf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aaron_in_sf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4242 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35718 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
