Hi Tamanaco

Thats a good question and one I cant answer.

I figured out how to reliably talk to MIP using a foreign character
set, but had problems with then passing this to SC to queue up. SC
would signal that it had queued up the file but when in reality it
hadnt done so. To make matters worse, if I then hand-coded (the exact
same coded up filename that was previously passed to SC and which had
failed to load) into a variable/scalar and then passed that to the same
function SC would queue it up successfully. So I was completely lost
how to fix this!

After many hours of messing about trying various things, I posted some
questions on the developer forums, which got basically no response, so
I shelved it for now.

Since then, I've not had much time recently to code, as undertaking
some major improvements to the house has taken all my free time.

So not sure, would be nice if there was stronger native support in SC
rather than all this messing about encoding filenames/paths, checking
what OS I'm running on etc. etc.. after all it is supposed to be a
plugin :s

I recently added a fade function, so at night time (or user defined
time) it will gradually lower the volume at each track change, which is
great for sleeping, but I've not released this yet.

Also playing around with BPM, to see if its possible to queue up the
next track with the nearest BPM to the seed, have got as far as BPMs in
my mp3 and using custom scan to get the data set into SC, but havent
worked out how I can then use this data set.

So its ticking on.. but nothing major thus far

Cheers
