cparker, may I "suggest" that when you get a chance you file a bug or feature request. If you file one "maybe" we can get enough votes from current/future SugarCube users so that the developers give this request "some" priority. I hate to see you shelve this feature/enhancement for the plugin. I would file, but you're the person that knows the details of exactly what's needed for your plugin to support extended characters.
