I recently got MusicIP all set up and running. Now I just want to know the most efficient way to keep my statistics in sync between MIP and SC and my files.
I adjust ratings externally in J. River Media Center. The Custom Scan Rating Tag scan takes care of getting ratings into SC just fine. I have enabled the MusicIP Statistics Export now as well and I can see my stats in MIP. My MIP reload interval in the MIP plugin is set to zero. I have the rescan music library plugin set to do a daily scan for new and changed music. I have Custom Scan Ratings module set to include in automatic scans and write ratings to Squeezecenter. I have MusicIP Stats Export module set to include in automatic scans and dynamically update stats. My questions... In the MIP Export module, is it necessary to tick both boxes? - Include in automatic scans and "Scan All" - Dynamically update statistics Do I need to do something with the Scanning order fields for each module? The custom scans are taking a *very* long time. Like 5 hours for 17,700 tracks.
