Thanks for your help. I unticked the "include in automatic scans" from MIP Export but left dynamically update on, and did a few spot checks. It looks like the stats are still being carried over, so that's great. The rating tag scan still takes a long time but it is down to about 3 hours vs. 5. It doesn't seem to slow anything down, though, so that's fine.
