What version of AlienBBC have you installed ? - see Settings/Plugins and the version number is beside AlienBBC name.
Do you see listings for all BBC programs ? Are you trying to play on Duet or on some other player ? To get more logging info change Settings/Advanced/Logging plugin.alienbbc to INFO and player.source to INFO.
