This is my first endeavor with NAS or squeezebox so forgive me if my questions are basic.
I just built a freenas with new equipment - foxconn board and AMD processor. I had to use the newest release of freenas because the older ones did not recogonize my built-in NIC. The freenas is running nicely now. My intention was to use slimnas to serve music (in flac format) to the squeezebox (which I haven't yet purchased). I discovered that the last version of slimnas may not be compatible with the most recent freenas build. Should I: 1) try to install slimnas anyway and see if it works 2) install squeezecenter on my laptop (Lenovo x61s) and point it to my freenas drives 3) do something else entirely Thanks -- jbraveman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jbraveman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16943 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49304 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
