Hi gharris999, thank you for your answer. my network-card- and power management settings are all like they have to be, I have checked them many times as you can imagine. I think there must be a problem with my motherboard and the onboard-lan-card respectively. although I can“t understand it, because I have an ASUS M2N SLI Deluxe, what apart from that is a very qualitative motherboard. but it must be the hardware, because now I have installed squeezecenter and your plugin on the computer of my girlfriend, and everything is working fine, except for some peanuts. For example when the server is in suspend and I want to wake him with the Boom, I sometimes have to execute the option "connect to squeezecenter" two times before the server awake again. and, when I want to wake up the server from the duet controller by turning the controller on, sometimes nothing happened and I have to turn the server on via Boom or on the server-power-button itself. am I right that there is no option like "connect to Squeezecenter" in the duet controller menu as it is in the Boom-menu? Or do I have tomatoes on my eyes ;) ? So the only way to send a magic packet via duet controller seems to be the starting procedure, right? but all things considered I am happy that it generally works now. still not perfect, but acceptable! p.s.: hibernation does not work at all on my or my girlfriends computer, your plugin tells me that this option is not possible when I try it. do I have to change some seetings to make it possible? -- Minken ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Minken's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521
