I can't be of any help here on you 1.0.5 slowness/lockup issue. But I did want to simply report that I'm using 1.0.5 on my iphone 3G with latest firmware and running SC 7.3.2 from my ReadyNas Duo. I have about 4,300 albums. The Squeezebox is connected wirelessly through some sort of linksys router. I'm not finding any of the problems you've reported. The iphone/ipeng stays connected (without going into sleep mode, and I don't notice the lags you're having. I can say that things are a little slower running off my readynas server than when I run off SC loaded on a PC instead, but not terribly so. Mostly just noticed when first starting ipeng after having done a rescan of my music on SC. In any case, the reason I'm commenting, is to at least indicate that the problem is not inherent in the 1.0.5 and use of a NAS. I'm sure something is causing your problems and I hope that they can be fixed, but it is not a widespread bug with 1.0.5.
