It should.
Is the problem, that you cannot move the volume handler (which
sometimes is a bit insensitive) or is the problem that the SB doesn't
react?

There is an issue I had several reports on that some iPod touches seem
to disconnect from the WiFi network after 15min even though iPeng is
still running. I am not able to reproduce this and I don't exactly
understand it, since iPeng keeps communicating in regular intervals. It
COULD have something to do with some iPod settings but I don't know
which.
However, I also have not done extensive testing on this and when I keep
my iPod on it usually sits in a cradle with a power supply.

I _hope_ the next iPeng version will be better on this since it will
not just keep communicating but also will keep a connection open.

If it is this problem, it should help to try until the WiFi icon comes
up again.
