A "404" error with basic.html can happen when the Plugin has been
installed a level too deep such as
server/Plugins/Plugins/VlcController2
rather than
server/Plugins/VlcController2

On Windows I also found that it was worthwhile rebooting the PC (i.e.
power off/on) if you move a plugin from one directory to another as
there can be Windows caching issues.
