ragelencross, I have some doubts about what exactly is happening with VLC on your board so I have created some batch files to gather detailed VLC logs.
I am also worried about the name "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II ([23" - the "([23" is strange and I worry there may be hidden characters so I have changed the dshowinfo.exe program to output some more information. Attached is a zip file which has 4 files. dshowinfo-v2.exe - updated debug version dshowinfo.exe dshowdumpv2.bat - batch file to run dshowinfo-v2 and save output in dshow-v2.txt vlcdebug1.bat - batch file to get VLC to record FM 90.5 using "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Capture" frequency into file vlcdebug1.mp3 and a log file called vlcdebuglog1.txt vlcdebug2.bat - batch file to get VLC to record FM 90.5 using "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II ([23" frequency into file vlcdebug2.mp3 and a log file called vlcdebuglog2.txt Download and unzip the files into a directory. Open a command prompt and change directory to that directory. Each batch file will generate some files into the current directory so it will be easy to tidy up. Make sure VLC is not running. Can you run each of the batch files from command prompt. The vlcdebug1.bat and vlcdebug2.bat will open a logger window - wait until the logger window settles down and then wait at least 15 secs - terminate by using CTRL/C and answer Y to "terminate batch" question. Please zip the 3 .txt files together and attach to a post. You should try to play the MP3 files using WMP or similar to see if radio was recorded - please report which one worked. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: raglen.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=6969| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57692 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
