There is something more specific going on - as I have a Suse system and WMA work OK through AlienBBC.
1. I cannot test the BBC WMA URLs - does the problem happen with all WMA streams or just the BBC ones ? Is there a space in the BBC URLs ? 2. Can you post a log with player.source set to DEBUG. 3.
