One more observation is that the BBC live stations and all the other BBC stations I tested work fine with softsqueeze and my squeezebox3. I believe this means that transcoding from RTSP to flac using AlienBBC and mplayer is working correctly.
The file types settings for RTSP under the squeezecenter advanced menu are as follows: FLAC - mplayer.sh/flac MP3 - disabled WAVE - mplayer.sh Doesn't this mean that the only path for an RTSP station is through alienbbc and mplayer? I feel like this thing is very close to working since the wma to flac transcoding should be going through alienbbc and mplayer similar to the RTSP streams. Can someone please help me with getting the wma internet radio stations in the USA to work over softsqueeze.
