Depends on what you need. 1.1 will have almost all of the features the controller has, on the curent 1.0.5 you do not yet have support for plugins and SqueezeNetwork. The "big thing" is configuring the receiver, you can't do that with iPeng. There is a tool called Net::UDAP to step in, but please read the relevant thread to make sure you are comfortable with this.
