Thanks for the quick reply - yes shuffle was enabled (didn't know that function was there)I have taken it off and it has fixed the problem. Thanks.
Just to clarify, now I have loaded in the correct library and cleared the cache and restarted it should be quicker to start now. In that vein, when I have selected the tracks/albums I want I then click the touch into standby - with a click on the upper outer button. Will the ipeng stay connected draining power? What do you recommend - if I click "home" and use other applications does it remain active in the background. Forgive these perhaps very basic (read clueless questions).
