It's not supposed to be that way.
But if iPeng crashes before you can reach this point, it's a
workaround.
The problem is, I have some reports of this behavior but have never
been able to reproduce it myself so it's a bit hard to fix.

Touch and hold the program icon on the iPhone's start screen, when it
starts to wobble, press the "x" to uninstall.
You reinstall it through the AppStore. Don't worry if it says you have
to buy it again, you won't.
Another alternative is to use iTunes, there's an "Applications" tab in
the device pane (NOT the section on the left below your library). Here
you can deselect iPeng, sync, select it again and sync again.

There are some reports that iPeng is having trouble to start up when
there is no connection to the internet (that is, the router's internet
connection is off). Could it be that?

What do you get? An error message?
Can you give me details about the message and about your network
setup?

Does it not reconnect at all or is it slow?
Which server version do you use?

HOW long does it take?
Do you have "forget last server" activated?

I don't understand that one.
It stops to play, what is it that doesn't work?
What do you mean by "the pc keeps running"?

iPeng does not automatically move the player to SqueezeNetwork when you
change the Music Source. The reason for this is that a lot of users have
more than one player and do not necessarily want to switch all their
players to SN at the same time.
So you have to switch the player to SN before you change the source or
the player will still be connected to SC and so you can see it only when
iPeng is also connected to SC.

This will get more convenient in iPeng 1.2
