I was looking more into the stream.mp3 for (hopeful) streaming within ipeng to play on iphone.
According the SC help remote streaming, you need to allow for storing the username and password of the SC somewhere as it needs http://username:passw...@localhost:9000/stream.mp3. Or at least need to handle a popup prompt for the username & password from SC. Also, my prior suggestion of defaulting the ipeng players stream bitrate limiting to 64kbs for submission raises one point where I think that everytime you launch the stream, it will revert back to the 64k as SC sets up a player based on the launching MP3 players IP address which will obviously be constantly changing with an iphone when on the cellular network. So is there a way to store the default stream bitrate limiting option in ipeng, save any new value that we set it to for future launches and pass that new defaulted value every time ipeng launches a new stream? We probably would need to store volume adjustment\replay gain and Preamp volume control as well.
