Just set the on-idle action to suspend or hibernate to SN and then modify the suspend or hibernation command to perform something benign..e.g. a 'dir' or some other inconsequential command. Whichever one you choose (suspend or hibernation), you'll loose the ability to perform that action from the web UI, but you can always use the other (non modified) action.
Other WHS users have spoken favorably of the LightsOut for WHS package as providing more sophisticated power management for WHS than SrvrPowerCtrl delivers. I've attempted to add some features to SrvrPowerCtrl to make it compatible with LightsOut.
