Thanks guys, i am at the moment trying to figure out why i do not have the facility in xp to hibernate or go into standbye. I have enabled wake on lan in the bios and have googled the problem but no answeres yet. I suspect that even with the pluggin at the moment it will not hibernate untill the command can be executed. I am however impressed with the intel board so far and it can do most things my triple core 180 watts per hour server did. It does not work without the 4 pin power plug in the board connected so i will need a power supply with this connector. The missus input is "why not just play cd,s its easier" but this will be worth it in the end.
