There's no reason why it shouldn't work under Windows 7 - it's not doing anything OS-specific in the plugin code.
What version have you installed? v4.0 was for SbS 7.3, and v4.1 is for SbS 7.4+ (minor alterations to avoid depricated warnings, other language support). What type of player are you trying to use it on? It only works on Classic players at the moment. I'm running version 4.0 on SBS 7.3.4. Players are two Classics.
