Squeezeslave is a headless soft player using the same protocol library of Softsqueeze - perhaps it was called softsqueezeheadless in its early days. > > No, this doesn't work it hangs on "Waiting to sync". However, this fix stopped working again sometime after > last Friday synced playback of MP3 and iPlayer streams worked on > Friday morning, but not this morning, hence my look at 3.9b1. 3.8 had some quick fixes to handle problems with non MP3 streams (typically transcoded) that happened with 7.3 onwards. 3.9b1 fixes a number of other issues and did a better job of the non MP3 streams issue. I think there is some sort of bug still with the new sync code and perhaps this is your issue. In general soft player do not sync well. I don't use RadioIO - are there accounts set up to use it ?
