uPNP is just a protocol which by default uses port 9000. Itis used by many devices including routers etc. One application is media streaming. Softsqueeze will use its protocol on port 9000 by default.
I don't know where you are disabling uPNP - router, PC, a NAS client - but it is possible that disabling uPNP also disables port 9000 or it enabled a dummy client on port 9000 to refuse connections. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62060 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
