The problem is my MiP plugin is already set to "Only read mixable status from Music IP (faster)" So I gather that the plugin is not behaving as it should based on the current settings? Anyway to force it or any other ideas? The only other change I made in the plugin settings was to set the MusicIP reload interval = 0. And yes, it's a large library which is why MiP is so important to me. Thanks for the help so far. I'm going to keep after this until I figure it out, or heave my server out the window....
