Nothing _I_ can'T do about it, Playlist manager currently neither has a
CLI nor SqueezePlay menus I could use.
Phil (the author) of Playlist Manager is working on it, though:

In the meantime, you could just use the current playlist and save it
after you are done, _that_ should work very comfortably in iPeng, you
can add at end or the next position and even re-order.
If you want to listen to different music while doing so, just run
SqueezePlay, SoftSqueeze or SqueezeSlave or connect to
<yourserver>:9000/stream.mp3
with some media player. This will give you an additional player in
iPeng who's current playlist you can use to create your new playlist.
That's what I do, use an "unused" player to store a temporary current
playlist and then save it.
