The reason is that as I've understood all the lead MusicIP developers left when AMS took over. If the rumors are correct, there are basically only the CEO left from the old company.
MusicIP is developed using completely different technology than SBS, so I'm not sure how easy it would be for Logitech to use it without the access to the developers who have all the knowledge. MusicIP is great, but it's currently not supported by AMS, they have declared that they won't be making any further updates to it. Probably due to the missing developers as mentioned above. In this situation it really doesn't feel like a good long term solution. I know, it's really sad because MusicIP is really state of the art when it comes to create interesting mixes. How is the MusicIP plugin in SBS configured, what is the "Use MusicIP" parameter set to ? - Only read mixable status Or - Import all song data I've been using it myself pretty recently, so it should work unless something has broken recently. It's important that MusicIP is started before SBS and it has to be started before you perform the rescan in SBS. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74533 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
