@indifference: 1.I just wanted to tell you that the tipp with device=0 and Subdevice=FF did the trick! I have now higly complex player- and menu-oriented profiles and am beginning to see the advantages of the xml format ;) I´m sooooo happy about SqueezeIR!
2. with the other player feature you are right, it should be something for the developer of the "other player" applet for this one is able to send WLAN-Commands to not-connected players. Should be an easy Addup for him. 3. With discussing new ideas for the next version, what about this one: sending better error-messages into a log-file, maybe into the dir Doc? I had to restart my SC about 57 times just for reasons of debugging. The messages file in Var/log wasnt really helfpful for detecting why the SqueezIR wasnt mounted correctly. Mistakes like missing closure of object (eg </event>), not findable remote-commands or syntax-errors could be named). If that was too complicated, the logfile could at least tell, in which line the mounting was aborted. I think that would save the users lots of time when debugging their own (large;) ) xml script? 4.
