Could be two different problems: 1. I might have done something wrong in my query 2. It's caused by MySQL's inability to join two "text" columns with good performance.
I suspect it's 2 and in that case I'm not sure there is an easy solution. It might be possible to speed it up a little through indexes but it will never be quick. The joining of text columns wasn't needed in 7.3 but the database structure changed a bit in 7.4 or 7.5 which requires this. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79076 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
