I tried doing a rescan of CustomTag on the old PC and the scan took only 2hrs. The SBS on the old PC is using the standard my.tt. Information level log is attached. On the old PC the music files are (mostly) on a usb drive (only some 12k songs are on an internal drive. The new PC is more powerful, uses (now) the modified my.tt, has all music on an internal drive and is still scanning... There must be something wrong with the new setup. The web UI feels a bit faster on the new PC and the scan for new files last night took 24 minutes on the old PC and only 11 minutes on the new PC. I copied all preferences from the old PC, but deleted the whole cache directory. I also copied everything in the directories which were indicated in the preferences for various plugins (CustomBrowse menues, playlists etc.) and set SBS on the new PC to point to the appropriate directories. The only difference between the old and new setup of SBS I can come to think of is that I a long time ago manually installed some CPAN modules necessary for some of Michael Hergers plugins. I have not done that on the new PC, but I thought all necessary modules were today incorporated into SBS and I cannot see that they are even there on the old PC any longer. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: CustomTagScan.log.txt | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=10349| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- vagskal 2 x SB3 (wired), Receiver (wireless), Boom (wireless), Controller, iPeng on iPod Touch, muso on remote computer running Win 7 | 7.5.2 on Win XP ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vagskal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20778 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
