Well I looked at the log again and basically its not connecting on the
first item (power on) and so it never well.

You say you have other devices connected to the Denon via Ethernet? 
How do we know they are not taking the session and locking it?  Can you
make sure those are off?

Also as Pete said anything in your router or firewall that would block
access to certain ports etc.  It may be worth turning that stuff off
for a few minutes just to eliminate that from the equation.
