There is a delay built into the plugin when you change the volume. I think its about 1/2 but then the whole system my add another 1/2 or so. This is to keep the user from overrunning the Denon which has a pretty poor communications system in my opinion. The delay is there so if you rapidly change the volume the Denon does not have to chase you until you settle down a bit. Just give it a second until you decide to move it. I took it down to a 1/4 of a second once and that seemed to introduce problems where the Denon would get locked up.
The 'snapping' or jumping of the volume when you turn on the system is the way the plugin tries to capture synching the volumes. I will have to look at it again to see if I can improve that. Basically you have to match the two so either the SB volume jumps to the Denon setting or the other way around. I favor the SB moving to the Denon setting because its safer than having the Denon adjust itself the to the SB. If the SB was mistakenly set to a high volume you could damage your equipment. -- Aesculus Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aesculus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
