There is no command button support currently in Custom Clock, so you
basically have two choices:

1.
- Replace standard Now Playing with Custom Clock
- Do all control via IR remote, web interface, Controller or one of the
iPhone/Android applications.

2.
- Configure Custom Clock as the "When Playing" screen saver and
preferably set the screen saver delay fairly short.
- You can now touch the screen to deactivate the screen saver and get
access to the standard now playing screen.

I had some plan to implement command button support but I've since then
realized that I rarely use the touch screen myself. I might still add it
in the future but it will probably not happen this year.

I've personally configured it as option 2 described above and to me
that works pretty good. On the Radio or Controller that doesn't have a
touch screen it works better to completely replace the standard Now
Playing screen with Custom Clock.
