Hi,

Firstly, thanks for a great piece of software Pippin.

However, I don't seem to be able to eliminate the battery drain
problem. I updated to 1.2.8, then realised that I still hadn't updated
my OS to 4, so I subsequently did that.

If, from a shutdown state, I turn my iPod on and then don't use ipeng
at any point, I can get the battery to last for days. However, if I
use ipeng, it appears to start a battery drain that uses up the battery
within a day. This battery drain will occur even if I start ipeng and
then subsequently press the ipod's 'home' button (i.e. not leaving
ipeng active).

I have uninstalled iPeng (by pressing the x on the wobbling icon) and
then reinstalled, and still encounter the same problems. I've checked
that the option in ipeng settings that allows you to maintain wifi
connection is not selected.

Is there something that I've missed? Are there any tests that I can do
to see if my ipod is trying to hold the wifi connection open, or if
iPeng is using resources even once I've pressed the home button.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

My ipod is an iPod Touch 3G, but only the small one (8GB?).
