It is probably still thinking the plugin is dynamically installed.  I
think the best bet is to try to dynamically install it again.  Are you
using the .deb distribution of squeezebox server?  If so then install
the plugin using the web interface, but when you are asked to restart
the server, don't kick the web interface to do this, restart the server
from the command line [sudo service squeezeboxserver restart].  This
will hopefully install it normally.
