You can't "start" a Squeezebox from iPeng at all, iPeng just sees the
players that are connected to your server.
I don't fully understand your setup, but I believe it's one of the
following:

1. Am I right to assume that you power down your server overnight? In
this case: could it be that your touch loses the connection? If yes,
iPeng can't see it which is why you have to do the reset. This again
comes in two varieties: the touch could only loathing connection to the
server, in this case it should show up in iPeng under "unconnected
players" and you can recover it by tapping it and selecting the music
source you want to connect it too. Or it can loste the network
connection at all (e.g. If you also power down your router), in this
case resetting the touch really is the only thing you can do.

2. Your touch is connected to MySqueezebox.com. In this case you need
to once select "MySqueezebox.com" under "Music Sources" and enter your
account credentials, in the future iPeng should then also see the touch
if it's on MySB.
