Just a quick response, a client will "see" the SqueezeCenter library and issues commands to play tracks to your Touch. It is useful, from my point of view, to a) allow use of more powerful software for music library browsing, playlist and playback control, b) use your choice of DLNA controllers, such as those on various handhelds, pads, etc. I find the SC software simply too limited, slow and cumbersome to use; furthermore, it has no tag management. I'd prefer one app for my library management and playback. With Whitebear, this is now quite possible and usable. Have you examined the possibilities here?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UPnP_AV_media_servers_and_clients#Microsoft_Windows -- MrC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=468 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82399 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
