The Squeezebox screen says > "connecting" and then "stopped" The log actually indicates that Whitebear is doing everything that it should be doing. Namely, the following steps are ocurring:
1) WMP Play To command sends the UPnP SetAvTransportUri to Whitebear, passing CurrentUri <url_shown_below> 2) Whitebear translates this command to SqueezeCenter CLI language and forwards it as <player_mac_address> playlist add <url_shown_below> 3) The Squeeze player log indicates that has recieved the request and that it is loading up this file to play http://192.168.1.5:10243/WMPNSSv4/2694848959/0_e0IzNTI4NDNDLTM0REMtNDQ1QS1CMkM4LUE3Q0M2MTBGQUIyNH0uMC40.mp3 So, if the Squeezebox is really not playing the file, then actually it is not Whitebear's fault! You could test this by using the SC UI to manually try to connect to the above mentioned "remote" url stream and see what happens. You won't see anything in the Whitebear logs, since it has already done its part in telling SC and WMP to talk together. However you might want to try a Shark trace to see if WMP returns HTTP 200, HTTP 40x, or nothing at all. If it returns nothing at all, then you probably have a fire-wall issue... -- AndrewFG Regards, AndrewFG Try out Whitebear. The middleware that joins the two worlds of: 1.
