A quick update. I have increased the log level for CLI on the Squeezebox Server and at the same time as the Spotify-plugin reports that the CLI closes unexpectedly, the CLI on the Squeezebox Server says this: [11-07-04 01:55:14.9455] Slim::Plugin::CLI::Plugin::cli_socket_accept (230) Begin Function [11-07-04 01:55:14.9472] Slim::Plugin::CLI::Plugin::cli_socket_accept (268) Did not accept connection from 127.0.0.1: unauthorized source I think this is the problem then, that the CLI does not accept the connection, as has has already been suggested. Only, it does not seem to be caused by firewall, rather that Squeezebox Server itself is closing the connection, calling it an unauthorized source.
