I have turned off all automatic Custom Scans, and now run them manually when I need to. I had to do this because I quite often add tracks and play them straight away (via Music Folders) to make sure they are OK. SBS does a short scan which runs OK, but then if Custom Scan is configured to kick in after an SBS scan it stops SBS from responding or being able to play music.
