Well, the point is that if it's iPeng I would like to understand the issue or it's not very likely that 1.4.2 will improve things.
I have absolutely no explanation for the New Music thing if everything else works fine except if you maybe put it on the exclude list for the party mode and enabled the party mode. The only reasons I can think up would also cause other menus to go missing as well, e.g. the Music Folder, "My Apps" or some of the settings.
