I have indeed typed in the password once again - I notice that it takes
a very long time to access the Spotify settings page, and also a very
long time from I press Apply until it says "Changes have been saved".

Status Helper App: Running

The helper app logging is set to info, the spotifyd.log itself is a
completely blank page.
