I've tested 1.5 with iPlayer 1.2.5 on an XP system and there was no problem whereas I had problems up to now.
There was no change to the parsing routines between iPlayerExtra 1.4 and 1.5 so the cause is somewhere else - somewhere relating to network traffic. First place to check would be cached URLs - stop SBS, clear SBS cache, clear browser cache, restarts SBS and test again. A "failed to parse" error can also caused by security s/w examining network streams or a network timeout.
