I am not trying to do anything really complicated, I would just like the audio output from my notebook to go to my stereo system. I don't want to attach any cables to my notebook or buy any new hardware. Since my notebook already has WiFi it seems like this would be the easiest (only) solution. So I would like to find a software which can act as a virtual device driver and compress sound output and send it to another WiFi device which can decompress and feed it into the input jack of a stereo system.
I installed Squeezebox on my system and it is pretty resource heavy. >From what I see it is running in Pearl??? And I don't think SB is really doing what I want to do. I want to be able to output any sound from my notebook to my stereo. This should not be that hard (or expensive) to do. -- charlie.p ------------------------------------------------------------------------ charlie.p's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52668 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=92582 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
