Sorry, but I'm not sure what else to say. You say PUID tags, but I don't think those matter. What you want are the fingerprint and especially the analysis tags. They are called MUSICMAGIC FINGERPRINT and MUSICMAGIC DATA for MP3 files and so I assume for m4a as well. In FLAC they are called just FINGERPRINT and ANALYSIS. I assume you have those? Do they have the right names?
Otherwise.... If you have conventional MP3s on your NAS, you can get them in the MiP database and mix them with no trouble? And the same procedure fails with your analyzed ALAC files? There is a variety of poorly understood (by me anyway) options for adding files to the database in the MiP GUI. There are Refresh Songs on the Library menu and adding a Watch Folder on the Options dialog box. There may be no effective difference between these, but I'd try them both. That's all I can think of for now. -- dpotts ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dpotts's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29782 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93059 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
