Hi there,

a few month later I decided to give it another try and I really thought
this time I got everything right...

Here is what I did:

1. To ensure the filepath is the same on bot NAS and Mac I creates a
Symlink /Volumes/Multimedia/Music to /share/Multimedia/music so I would
be able to access the m4a files under /Volumes/Multimedia from nas and
Mac
2. did analysis on mac using genpuid
3. copied cache-file default.m3lib to /Public share on NAS
4. imported cache file to MIP-Server via SSODS-Webinterface
5. opended MIP headless Webinterface that now showed Cache file has been
modified... reload Cache
6. Clicked the Button "Reload Cache" and...

Nothing happened!
Webinterface just changed back to index.htm still showing the hint
"cache file has been modified..."

What am I doing wrong?
How can I make musicIP on my linux NAS accept default.m3lib cache file
generated with genpuid (mac) that includes information on my m4a (ALAC)
files?

I understand that the linuxversion does not support m4a but I hoped it
would accept a cache-file with analysis data?

Please help (again)

Yours Celindir
