Well that's a better answer although I don't think I completely buy the logic. Just cuz SS is open source doesn't mean it can't interface with plugins that aren't and only provided in their compiled form. If it's about money and I agree they have a right to profit then allow us to buy a compiled plugin license to work with SS.
